Job summary

Hiya is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge engineering and execution for European telecom partners. You’ll own end-to-end integration design, delivery, and ongoing support of Hiya’s spam protection and voice intelligence services.

You’ll collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, and Delivery teams while building trusted relationships with customer engineers and stakeholders. The role blends technical execution with strategic guidance across the customer lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience presenting technical concepts to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in customer-facing engineering roles where ambiguity is common.
• Ability to understand new technical domains quickly without extensive prior domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical design, delivery, and ongoing support of partner integrations with European operators.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Account teams during pre-sales and delivery engagements.
• Serve as the technical lead in customer conversations, communicating capabilities and requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customer engineering teams and become a trusted advisor.
• Align system architecture with Product and Engineering teams and delivery timelines.
• Contribute code, tooling, automation, and improvements for customer implementations.
• Query Hiya's data mesh to support integration validation and troubleshooting.
• Build dashboards or lightweight tooling to monitor integrations and performance.
• Influence and evolve partner integration models with major vendors such as Ericsson.
