Job summary

Imperial College London is seeking an International Relations Adviser (Europe) to develop strategic partnerships with European partners and to manage events and communications for Europe. You will liaise with senior leaders and a wide range of stakeholders to advance Imperial-EU science and innovation collaborations.

The role includes managing visits, scoping new opportunities, and supporting cross-team initiatives within a dynamic, global engagement environment.

Qualifications

Science and/or education strategic partnership experience, ideally in a higher education setting.
Experience working in Europe and/or with European partners.
Knowledge of UK-EU science and innovation landscape.
Adaptable and comfortable with both strategic and reactive work with short deadlines.
Excellent written English and the ability to prepare high-quality briefings and reports.
Proven ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders at varying levels.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage a busy portfolio of high-level inward and outward visits by international and Imperial leadership delegations.
Scope strategic opportunities for new partnerships and manage programmes with European partners.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop Imperial-EU science collaborations.
Promote work through communications channels and manage events for Europe.
Support events and initiatives across the team as needed.
