Job summary

Imperial invites applications for a fixed-term, full-time role in the International Relations Office within the Strategic Engagement Division to develop Europe-focused science and innovation partnerships.

You will manage high-level visits, scope opportunities with European partners, and oversee events, programmes and communications, working with diverse stakeholders to advance Imperial-EU collaborations. Hybrid working with on-site presence expected.

Qualifications

• Science and/or education strategic partnership experience, ideally in a higher education setting.
• Experience working in Europe and/or with European partners.
• Knowledge of UK-EU science and innovation landscape.
• Adaptable and comfortable with strategic and responsive work.
• Excellent written English and ability to prepare high-quality briefings and reports.
• Proven ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
• Inspired by Imperial’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Partnership development and regional strategy.
• Events, programme and communications programme management.
• Plan and manage a busy portfolio of high-level inward and outward visits by international and Imperial senior leadership delegations.
• Scope strategic opportunities for new partnerships with European partners.
• Manage programmes and activities with existing European partners.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to support and develop Imperial-EU science and innovation collaborations.
• Promote our work through communications channels and manage events for Europe.
