Job summary

Point72 is seeking a Macro Analyst, Market Intelligence covering Europe, to work with alternative data to build macro context for rates and FX, delivering insights to investment professionals to support research.

You will collaborate with Data Sourcing, Data Science, and Data Engineering, and present findings through written reports, data feeds, and visualizations, communicating clearly with portfolio managers and researchers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or advanced degree with demonstrated academic success.
• 1–5 years in macro/economics/investment research or consulting.
• Experience presenting research to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyse alternative data to derive macro insights for rates and FX.
• Produce research for internal investment professionals via reports, data feeds, and visualizations.
• Engage with investment professionals to inform the macro investment process.
• Collaborate with Data Sourcing, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Compliance to turn data assets into actionable research.
