Finsbury Foods in United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a designated area, drive KPI performance, and uphold safety and food quality standards across shifts.
You will coach and develop team members, ensure accurate BI reporting, and foster a safety-first culture while coordinating with Stock, Transport, and site operations to meet demand.
You'll provide day-to-day leadership for your designated warehouse area, ensuring operational KPIs are achieved on an hourly and shift basis while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and service.
You'll lead from the front, creating a positive team culture and ensuring colleagues understand expectations, targets, and priorities throughout the shift.
A key focus of the role will be driving performance through effective use of warehouse KPIs and BI reporting. You'll support the achievement of OTIF (On Time In Full) performance, monitor picking productivity, and ensure stock is available and processed efficiently to support customer demand.
You'll take ownership of Health, Safety and Environmental performance within your area, ensuring strong housekeeping standards, compliance with SOPs, completion of daily equipment checks, and active participation in accident investigations and risk assessments. Creating a safety-first culture will be central to your role.
You will champion quality and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with PPE requirements, process controls, GMP standards, and site procedures. You'll work closely with colleagues to address and resolve any deviations while maintaining operational excellence.
People development will be a significant part of your role. You'll coach, train, and support team members to improve capability, develop skills, and strengthen succession planning within the warehouse operation. You'll also support designated deputies as they develop into future leadership roles.
Effective communication will be essential. You'll keep teams engaged and informed through shift briefings, handovers, notices, and daily communication, ensuring alignment across shifts and departments including Stock, Transport, and wider site operations.
You'll also contribute to continuous improvement activity, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and service while helping the business adapt to changing customer and operational requirements.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and build a long‑term career within a growing business.
