Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Speed Programs Analyst on a 18-month fixed-term contract to own end-to-end capacity planning for High Volume Events (HVE) across the EU5 Same Day network.

The role focuses on ensuring stations are resourced and ready to meet demand during Peak periods, translating data into capacity decisions and driving cross-functional alignment with Last Mile, Middle Mile, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative field.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience creating financial and operational reports or using data analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication to non-technical audiences.
• English proficiency and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end EU5 Same Day HVE capacity planning.
• Build station-level capacity models for Peak events.
• Identify capacity gaps early and drive resolution.
• Create and run governance for readiness milestones.
• Partner with Operations, Last Mile, Middle Mile, and Tech teams to align inputs.
• Produce data-driven recommendations for senior leadership when trade-offs are required.
• Build post-event retrospectives for next planning cycle.
