Job summary

WR Logistics in Bradford is seeking an experienced European Road Freight Operator to manage European export movements from start to finish and to own shipments from booking to delivery. You will coordinate with customers, hauliers and overseas partners, ensuring cost-effective loads and high service levels.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in European road freight exports, understands customs procedures, and can communicate confidently both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience within European Road Freight Exports.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and Sequoia would be highly advantageous.
• Confident communicator, commercially aware and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Planning efficient and cost-effective export trailer loads.
• Managing European Road Export shipments from booking through to delivery.
• Liaising with customers, hauliers and overseas agents.
• Providing quotations for new and existing business.
• Handling customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Supporting export customs processes and documentation.
• Using Sequoia and internal freight systems.
• Resolving operational issues and ensuring a high level of customer service.
