Job summary

White Recruitment Construction in Bradford is seeking an experienced European Road Freight Operator to join our freight forwarding team. You will manage European export movements from booking to delivery, plan loads, and work closely with customers, hauliers and overseas partners.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in European road freight exports, knowledge of customs procedures and Sequoia, and strong communication skills to operate independently or as part of a team.

European Road Freight Operator – Bradford

Location: Bradford
Salary: £35,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

I’m recruiting for an experienced European Road Freight Operator to join an established freight forwarding operation in Bradford.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong European Road Export experience who enjoys taking ownership of shipments, planning loads and working closely with customers, hauliers and overseas partners.

The Role

You’ll manage European export movements from start to finish, with responsibilities including:

• Planning efficient and cost-effective export trailer loads
• Managing European Road Export shipments from booking through to delivery
• Liaising with customers, hauliers and overseas agents
• Providing quotations for new and existing business
• Handling customer enquiries by phone and email
• Supporting export customs processes and documentation
• Using Sequoia and internal freight systems
• Resolving operational issues and ensuring a high level of customer service

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need a minimum of 5 years experience within European Road Freight Exports, with a strong understanding of planning export loads from start to finish.

Knowledge of customs procedures and Sequoia would be highly advantageous.

You’ll also be a confident communicator, commercially aware and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
