Job summary

Pembury Legal in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property lawyer to join a top US law firm as a strategic Knowledge Lawyer, bridging legal expertise, innovation and knowledge leadership.

You will influence practice development, shape legal strategy and support an internationally recognised IP team, delivering training, resources and thought leadership across the group. This role offers high visibility and cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

At least six years' PQE in a leading law firm with strong EU IP exposure.
Excellent drafting and communication skills with interest in legal innovation.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead knowledge initiatives.

Responsibilities

Act as SME across EU IP and provide technical support to lawyers.
Lead and deliver training, mentoring and capability development.
Monitor legal and market developments and translate insights into practical guidance.
Create and maintain precedents, templates and knowledge resources.
Produce client-facing content such as briefings and thought leadership.
Drive knowledge capture and adoption of AI-enabled tools.
Partner with legal and business services teams to support innovation and growth.
