Job summary

The Vanguard Group is seeking an European Data Governance Analyst in Manchester to operationalise the European Data Governance Framework. You will support data quality dashboards, governance reporting, remediation delivery and data lineage across European business functions, collaborating with Data Governance Partners, Data Stewards and risk/compliance teams.

You will document end-to-end processes, maintain data dictionaries and governance artefacts in Collibra, and help design controls to

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical detail for meetings, presentations and documents.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role with process and requirements documentation.
• Experience producing dashboards, reporting and management information.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder and communication skills in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Operationalise the European Data Governance Framework across business areas.
• Produce data quality dashboards, scorecards and MI; source, validate and map CDEs.
• Support data lineage, mapping, process validation, control testing and metadata reviews.
• Document end-to-end data processes, flows, controls and governance artefacts for auditability.
• Maintain roadmaps, RAID logs and status reporting across workstreams; facilitate workshops.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or automate monitoring, governance processes and reporting.
