Anthropic is seeking a Data Center Energy Lead to secure power capacity and accelerate energy delivery for AI compute across Europe. This remote EU role requires navigating EU electricity markets, regulatory environments, and high-stakes procurement to scale compute capacity efficiently.

You will lead multi-hundred megawatt procurement efforts, manage relationships with TSOs/DSOs and regulators, and translate market dynamics into actionable capacity strategies for rapid deployment.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years in energy procurement, utility development, or power markets for large infrastructure
• Deep expertise in EU electricity markets and regulatory frameworks
• Experience securing multi-hundred MW capacity and PPAs across Europe

• Develop energy deployment strategies to accelerate energization while maintaining social license
• Lead energy procurement and markets strategy for AI infrastructure across EU markets

• Translate energy market dynamics into actionable capacity acceleration plans with delivery teams
• Build market intelligence on regional power availability and transmission constraints
• Structure commercial frameworks enabling faster power delivery and mitigate grid risks across Europe
