Job summary

Klarna seeks an experienced compliance testing specialist to independently validate controls against EU directives and EBA guidance. You will scope and run tests, interview stakeholders, and report findings with clear recommendations, using SQL, Python, and AI-enabled tooling to sample and analyze data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in compliance testing, monitoring, or audit within financial services or payments.
• Experience designing or running testing scripts, audits, or structured reviews.
• Familiarity with EU regulatory landscape for payments and consumer credit.

Responsibilities

• Audits and tests of controls against EU requirements and EBA guidance.
• Scope, interview, data collection, and report findings with actionable recommendations.
• Validate testing data and use SQL/Python for data-driven evidence.
• Develop automated tests and monitoring to support ongoing compliance.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and support corrective actions.
