Job summary

The Donkey Sanctuary is seeking a proactive Programmes and Partnerships Coordinator for Ethiopia, based with the International and Partnerships team. You will work with the RPPA Africa to manage funded partnerships, ensure due diligence and coordinate country programmes to deliver strategies across Ethiopia.

The role requires experience in project management within international development, strong stakeholder relationships, and IT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant Ethiopian experience in a sector adjacent to Animal Welfare or International Development.
• Demonstrable project cycle management experience.
• Educated to degree level or above (or equivalent).
• Experience with monitoring and reporting tools.
• Experience working and communicating internationally with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support programme cycle management for funded partnerships in Ethiopia.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and partner due diligence.
• Help ensure internal capacities and resources for Ethiopia strategies.
• Coordinate Ethiopia projects to monitor, evaluate and deploy resources effectively.
• Engage with country teams to ensure the Ethiopia programme is well-coordinated.
