Job summary

Nexperia Manchester is expanding its Semiconductor Etch and Implant Process Engineering Team to sustain daily production and drive long-term improvements across complex wafer fab processes. Great growth path for engineers with semiconductor experience or high-potential graduates in Materials Science, Physics, or Chemistry.

The role involves improving yields, monitoring Cpk, delivering process development projects, and supporting new product development.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Competent with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Right to work within the UK.
• Graduate candidates with a STEM background are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Yield, capability and performance improvement across processes.
• Monitor and improve Cpk levels and coordinate metrology R&R studies.
• Deliver technical improvement projects focusing on yield, cost, throughput and process capability.
• Support new product and platform development through process activities.
• Generate and maintain Wafer Fab Operator Instructions and ensure compliance with procedures.
