Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Estimator – Precast Concrete in Alfreton to price bespoke precast building products used in landscaping, facades and structural projects.

You will review designer drawings, price up designs, produce formal quotations and manage client relationships to encourage repeat business. Strong reading of technical drawings and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience within architectural precast and related external building products.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• High levels of organisation, attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

The role of the Estimator – Precast Concrete will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with a comprehensive bespoke precast concrete building products used across landscaping, facades, structural buildings and architectural features
• Review drawings and project related information provided by designers and specifying consultants
• Price up designs and produce formal quotations
• Build and maintain working relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
• Input all relevant information onto internal scheduling software and CRM system
• Prioritising workload to ensure that project deadlines are met
• Pricing up projects ranging from £30k to £5m

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Precast Concrete with:

• Must have estimating experience within architectural precast, facades experience, structural steel, masonry, structural building products or related external building products
• The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• PC literate (Microsoft Office)
• High levels of organisation, attention to detail and numerical skills
