Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an Estimator, preferably with main contractors.
• Experience pricing projects of at least £2m in value.
• Knowledge of Commercial, Retail, or Hospitality projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for hands-on estimating from first principles.
• Contributing to tenders on new build and fitout projects.
• Ensuring profitability on tenders submitted.

Estimator - The Company:

Our client is a successful regional main contractor with an established reputation across the South Wales and beyond. Typical projects are between 1m and 10m in value across Commercial, Hospitality, Hotels and Retail sectors working for bluechip clients nationwide. The company is a very well established business, financially secure, and has a strong reputation for growth and development.

Estimator - The Role:

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced (5 years+) Estimator to join the
Pre-construction team based from the office in Cardiff. You will be responsible for hands on Estimating from first principle on a range of tenders on new build and fitout projects. The company are able to offer stability, strong tender pipeline, excellent career progression and a challenging and rewarding environment.

Estimator - The Person

• You will have solid Estimating experience with either a national or regional main contractor
• You will have experience pricing new build projects of at least 2m in value
• Demonstrable experience of Estimating on Commercial, Retail or Hospitality projects is beneficial but not essential.
• A good track record of winning tenders on projects with a good level of profitability.
• Commutable to the Cardiff area and happy to be office based.
