Cross Green Contracting Site, Leeds is seeking an Estimator (Highways) to lead pricing and tender submissions, shaping our regional contracting portfolio. You will work with commercial and operations teams to develop competitive bids and build strong client relationships.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality tenders, analysing risks, and driving opportunities across highways, civils and infrastructure, within a market-leading business.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial and estimating experience within Highways, Surfacing, Civils, or Infrastructure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and are highly organised.
• Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
• Effective communication skills and can engage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work accurately and effectively to tight deadlines.
• Strong IT literacy and confidence working with estimating systems.
• A logical, structured and process-driven approach with high levels of attention to detail.
• Degree-level education and/or significant relevant industry experience.
• Confidence when navigating both financial and contractual risk.

What You'll Be Doing

You will support the Commercial Manager and wider business in delivering commercial objectives and growth plans by managing the pricing and tendering process from enquiry through to submission. You will be responsible for:

• Supporting the development of a strong pipeline of future opportunities

What We're Looking For

You're someone who enjoys solving commercial challenges and has a keen eye for detail. You'll be naturally analytical, organised and able to work effectively under pressure. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• Significant commercial and estimating experience within Highways, Surfacing, Civils, or Infrastructure
