The Project Engineer at Tarmac will join the team at the Dunbar Cement Plant, reporting to the Project Manager. You will specify and implement site improvement projects, solving plant issues while meeting safety, quality, time and budget objectives and managing associated risks.
You will work with plant colleagues and contractors to ensure scoping, planning, and integration into BAU. You may deputise for the Project Manager on occasion.
Tarmac has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team based at our Cement Plant in Dunbar.
Reporting to the Project Manager, this role is responsible for specifying and implementing site improvement projects and creating innovative solutions to plant issues and meeting all project objectives within safety, quality, time and budget, while managing associated risks.
You will work with the plant colleagues and contractors to ensure successful scoping, planning, project implementation and integration into business as usual. The role will also act as front-line contractor supervisor on their own and site strategic projects from both a H&S and subject matter expert point of view.
