Job summary

Kingdom People is seeking an experienced Estimator to join a leading construction and civil engineering contractor. You will prepare competitive tenders for major projects and work within a skilled team to drive growth and career progression toward Senior Estimator.

The role emphasizes a strong understanding of Civils/groundworks, accurate cost estimation, and collaboration with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to deliver effective, value-driven bids across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating in Building & Civil engineering or groundworks (Civils/Energy preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction methods and pricing.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of JCT & NEC civil engineering and groundworks packages on major projects.
• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and build cost databases.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates reflect practical delivery methods.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
• Maintain and update estimating tools and systems.
