Kingdom People is seeking an experienced Estimator to join a leading construction and civil engineering contractor in the UK. You will prepare competitive tenders for major Civils/Groundworks projects, analysing drawings, specs and tender documents to define scope and costs.

You will liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, update cost databases, and work with project teams to reflect practical delivery methods.

Formación

• Experience in estimating for civil/groundworks projects.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and tender documents to determine scope and costs.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for JCT & NEC civil/groundworks packages on major projects.
• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and build cost databases.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates reflect delivery methods.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
• Maintain and update estimating tools and systems.
