Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Estimator in the Thurnscoe area to prepare quotations, review specifications, and collaborate across engineering and production teams. The role includes leading the spare parts sales initiative and building strong customer relationships on international projects.

You will manage multiple quotations, ensure accurate cost estimates, and support the commercial team in hitting sales targets while driving revenue growth for the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in an estimator or quotations role within engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for engineering projects.
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, engineering and production teams to develop competitive proposals.
• Follow up quotations and build strong customer relationships.
• Lead and grow the spare parts sales side of the business.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling spare parts and services.
• Maintain quotation records and sales activity using internal systems.
• Support the wider commercial team in achieving sales targets.
