Job summary

Kingdom People invites an experienced Estimator to join their growing construction and civil engineering team. Based in Warrington, you will prepare competitive tenders for major civil projects, analysing drawings and specifications, and building robust cost databases with suppliers and subcontractors.

Opportunity to progress to Senior Estimator as the business expands. You will work collaboratively with project managers and engineers, utilising estimating software and MS Office to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience estimating within Building & Civil engineering or groundworks, preferably Civils/Energy projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and pricing.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (not essential).
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, driven, ambitious mindset—keen to grow with the business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for JCT & NEC civil engineering and groundworks packages on major projects.
• Analyse tender documents, drawings and specifications to understand project scope.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and build cost databases.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates reflect practical delivery methods.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
• Maintain and update estimating tools and systems.

The Role

You will work as part of a collaborative and experienced team, preparing competitive tenders for a wide range of major projects for.
