Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Estimator (Construction/Fitout) in Liverpool to own pre-construction activities for high-value commercial fit-out projects. You'll prepare tender packs, take-offs and BOQs, price tenders, and ensure competitive cost planning, working closely with PMs, clients and suppliers.

This office-based role offers Chartership support, long-term career progression and a Monday–Friday 8:15am–5:15pm schedule, with £45,000–£55,000 salary.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-construction estimating and tendering.

Are you an Estimator or similar from a construction background looking for a technically challenging role where you'll take ownership of high-value projects within a well-established company offering full Chartership support, long-term career progression and the opportunity to influence major commercial fit-out projects?

For over 40 years, this company has been providing specialist fit-out solutions for commercial clients across sectors including healthcare and education. Through continued success, they have grown into a multi-million-pound business and are now looking to strengthen their estimating team.

In this office-based role, you will take ownership of the pre-construction process by preparing tender packages, completing take-offs, pricing BOQs and producing accurate tender submissions for a wide range of commercial fit-out projects. You will work closely with project managers, clients and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, accurate cost planning and successful project delivery. This is a Monday to Friday role, working 8:15am-5:15pm.

This role would suit an Estimator or similar from a construction background looking to develop their technical skills within a well-established and growing business.
