Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited in Bristol seeks an Estimator for Concrete Repair Services to deliver accurate estimates and take-offs from drawings, preparing and submitting tenders for projects from £500k up to about £3m. Qualifications

• Must have experience in pre-construction / estimating.
• Ideally in concrete, but other building/groundwork backgrounds acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Produce bills of quantities / price schedules from site drawings.
• Handle enquiries via tender portals, phone and email.
• Prepare and submit accurate tenders within deadlines.
• Follow up tenders and update records with client feedback.
• Attend pre-contract meetings and negotiate prices with clients.
• Develop relationships with clients to secure further work.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers and raise purchase orders.
• Ensure quality procedures are followed by self and team.
• Resolve technical issues on projects.
• Projects range £500k to £3m.
