Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a tender estimator to produce accurate, competitive bids for refurbishment and planned maintenance projects across social housing and related sectors. The role involves pricing labour, plant and materials, obtaining quotes, and supporting value engineering.

The Role

Working closely with the Bid and Operational teams, you'll be responsible for producing accurate, competitive tenders across refurbishment and planned maintenance projects for both new and existing clients.

Duties include

• Preparing estimates, quotations and tender submissions
• Producing quantities from drawings and specifications
• Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Pricing labour, plant and material costs
• Supporting value engineering and cost planning
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
• Working collaboratively with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates with estimating experience gained within social housing, property services, refurbishment or the wider construction sector.

You’ll ideally have

• Experience pricing projects from first principles
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Experience preparing competitive tenders
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
