Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd in Warrington is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong Social Housing background to join our Social Infrastructure team. You will produce accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders from pre-construction through handover.

You will interpret drawings and specifications, prepare Bills of Quantities, obtain Quotations, and work closely with commercial, operational and bid teams to drive value and manage risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in the construction industry.
• Social Housing experience is essential.
• Understanding of refurbishment, maintenance and construction projects.
• Knowledge of JCT and ACA contracts.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and schedules of works.
• Experience preparing Bills of Quantities and take-offs.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Able to manage multiple tenders and tight deadlines.
• Quantity Surveying or related qualification desirable.

Responsibilities
