Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking an Estimator in Manchester to prepare accurate quotations and cost plans for fire door installation and general joinery works.

You will build client relationships, identify contract opportunities, and secure targeted enquiries to grow the business, while mentoring fellow estimators and providing technical solutions.

Estimator

£50-55k/annum

Manchester

Our client, a well established, family ran business are looking to bring in an experienced Estimator to provide quotations for fire door installation and remedial programs and other general joinery works

It is desirable but not essential that you have a background in FM and/or fire doors.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing accurate and timely quotations, estimates and costs plans for clients.
• Building and maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities for new contracts.
• Securing targeted contract enquiries to meet the needs of the business.
• Enhancing existing doorset knowledge through continuous professional development to fully understand doorset performance and current legislation attributable to our business.
• Mentoring and managing fellow estimators and trainee estimators to secure the best new contracts whilst providing technical solutions and advice to the team.
