Carey Group PLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the Work-Winning team in London and the South East. You will develop estimates, quantify works from drawings and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations to inform bid strategies and client presentations.

The role requires delivering successful bids in construction or civil infrastructure, with a degree in Civil Engineering, QS or Construction Management preferred. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualificações

• Experience delivering bids in construction, civil engineering or infrastructure environments.
• Ability to prepare estimates and budgets from first principles.
• Experience measuring works from drawings and analysing subcontractor/supplier quotations.
• Experience identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Experience supporting tender reviews, adjudications and client presentations.
• Ability to work with operational and commercial teams through the bid process.

We\'re looking for an Estimator to join our Work-Winning team, supporting the delivery of major civils and infrastructure projects across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with estimating experience who enjoys working collaboratively, solving complex challenges, and helping secure and shape high-profile construction projects.

What you will be doing:

• Preparing estimates and budgets from first principles
• Measuring and quantifying works from drawings
• Analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
• Supporting tender reviews, adjudications, and client presentations
• Working closely with operational and commercial teams throughout the bid process

What you will bring:

You\'ll be an experienced estimator with a track record of delivering successful bids within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure environments.

• Preparing estimates and budgets from first principles
• Measuring and quantifying works from drawings
• Analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
• Supporting tender reviews, adjudications, and client presentations

A degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management would be advantageous, although equivalent industry experience is equally valued.
