JBL provides design-to-delivery solutions, producing all items in-house at an advanced manufacturing facility using materials such as Corian, HI-MACS, veneered and solid timber, laminates, stone, and metal. The team manages every stage of the process, from quoting, briefing, and material selection through prototyping, CNC machining, thermoforming, project management, installation, and aftercare. Role Description The Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Feltham, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for bespoke joinery and furniture projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, analyzing material and labor requirements, and producing detailed quotations in line with project briefs and client expectations. The role involves collaborating closely with design, production, and project management teams to clarify requirements, assess feasibility, and ensure estimates reflect manufacturing capabilities and timelines. The Estimator will liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, evaluate alternatives, and maintain up-to-date cost databases for materials and services. The position also includes supporting the sales and project teams with value engineering options, tracking estimate revisions, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.
