Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Estimator role within construction, fit out or refurbishment.
• Good understanding of commercial interiors and associated trades.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and project specifications.
• Confident using Excel and estimating software such as Bluebeam, Conquest or similar.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and contribute effectively within a small team.

Responsibilities

Estimator - Fit Out & Refurbishment

West Edinburgh

£45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Our client is an established fit out and refurbishment contractor with a strong track record delivering multi-trade interior projects across the commercial and public sectors.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming work and a number of long-term framework agreements in place, they are now looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team.

The Role

Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for pricing a range of commercial fit out and refurbishment projects, typically valued up to around £1 million.

You will be involved throughout the tender process, from reviewing initial drawings and specifications through to preparing detailed estimates and supporting the wider team with winning new work.
