Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our retail maintenance division in Scotland. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for capital works and PPM/reactive projects, using advanced Excel models and tender analysis to deliver competitive pricing.

You will liaise with clients and supply chain partners, attend tender reviews, and contribute to post-tender negotiations while keeping up-to-date with market costs and standard pricing libraries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator within Capital, PPM, reactive maintenance, or property services.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, including data analysis and cost modelling.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret specifications and tender documents.
• Excellent written and numerical accuracy with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation with clients and supply chain partners.
• Ability to manage multiple quotes and work to tight deadlines.
• Positive, collaborative approach and desire to develop within a reputable contractor.

About The Role:
