A major UK civil engineering contractor is seeking an Estimator in the Derby area to help drive growth and win new projects. The role entails creating specifications, pricing proposals, and building client relationships, while enjoying the support of a respected company known for high project delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator in Civil Engineering.
• Experience presenting quotes and specifications to clients.
• Understanding of Utility Schemes (preferred but not essential).

The Company:
An exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join a Civil Engineering Contractor in the Derby area. As a major UK contractor my client has a diversified workload in the Civil Engineering sector. About The Role:
As an Estimator you will play an integral role in tendering and successfully winning work to help with the businesses projected growth over the next few years. Your focus is:
•Creating and understanding specifications.
• Building relationships with clients.
• Pricing form data and proposing these to clients.
• Reporting and working closely with the Commercial Director.

About You:
• Experience presenting quotes and specifications to clients.
• Experience working on Civil Engineering Schemes.
• Experience tendering Utility Schemes (Preferred but not Essential)
• Live within or commutable to Derby
• Experience using Excel.
• First Principals and Project Take Off experience. (Preferred but not Essential)
