Job summary

TDA Telecoms in Somerset is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our busy Project Division within a leading infrastructure company. You will be responsible for preparing cost plans and tenders for M&E projects, with a focus on accurate budgeting and value engineering.

The role requires 3–5 years’ estimating experience in building services, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office. A relevant HNC/HND or degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience estimating for M&E or building services
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
• Experience preparing and submitting tenders and cost plans
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Estimator – Mechanical and Electrical (M&E)

£60,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits

We are currently looking for a skilled Estimator to join our client's busy Project Division within a leading Infrastructure company based in the South West.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as an estimator within the building services or M&E sector
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Proven experience preparing and submitting accurate project tenders and cost plans
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• Experience working across commercial, residential, and public sector projects
