Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an Estimator for a growing civil engineering contractor. The role collaborates with the Bid Manager to build the estimating department and win bids for infrastructure and renewable projects. Hybrid working is offered with 2 days at home and 3 in the office.

Key duties include tendering, client meetings, and reviewing technical drawings. The successful applicant will have civil engineering experience and be able to operate in Inverness area, with potential for future

• Experience in civil engineering and knowledge of estimating/tendering processes.
• Experience as an Estimator or in a similar role is required.
• Commutable to or living in Inverness area; willing to be office based 2-3 days a week.

• Meet clients and teams regularly to discuss projects and tender updates.
• Reviewing technical drawings to support tender submissions.

£75,000 – £90,000 basic + Bonuses (£5,000 on top) + Managing teams + Opportunity for Hybrid working (2 days WFH 3 days in office) + Car Allowance (£6,000) + Company car + Immediate start!

Work for a growing Civil engineering contractor as an Estimator. You will work closely with the bid manager building the estimating department and becoming an expert in your field. Tender for prestigious infrastructure and renewable projects and have the opportunity to potentially earn £90,000 as a starting salary.

This established contractor specialises in civil engineering for the past few decades. They have established partnerships with top tier 1 contractors across the UK and are looking to grow their estimating department with the help of a well rounded Estimator. You will have a strong background in civils and an eye for detail and numbers. This will be used to create tenders and win bids helping to continuously grow the business and achieve their goals. Your role as an Estimator will include:
