Job summary

The Right Hire Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly organised Production Administrator / Estimating Assistant to join a Bolton team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn alongside experienced technicians and management, developing skills in estimating, costing and production estimation.

You will provide essential admin and technical support through the estimating and tender process, gaining exposure to quotes, cost calculations and vendor communications.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Competent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines.
• Genuine interest in estimating, costing and production.
• A proactive team player with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the estimating and bidding team.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of quotations and tenders.
• Review customer enquiries, drawings, specifications and supporting documentation.
• Help gather information and pricing from suppliers and internal departments.
• Assist with material, labour and production cost calculations.
• Maintain costing, quotation and tender records.
• Input and update information on internal systems and spreadsheets.
