Job summary

Right Hire Recruitment in Bolton is seeking a highly organised Contracts & Estimating Assistant to support the estimating and bidding team. You will analyse drawings and specifications and help with cost calculations to assist tendering processes.

We welcome engineering graduates and individuals with a strong numerical and analytical approach, plus good IT and Excel skills. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Bolton with training and development in costing and production.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with ability to interpret drawings/specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the estimating and bidding team.
• Assist with preparation and submission of quotations and tenders.
• Review customer enquiries, drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Gather information and pricing from suppliers and internal departments.
• Assist with material, labour and production cost calculations.
