The Right Hire Recruitment Ltd in Bolton is seeking a Production Administrator / Estimating Assistant to join our team in Bolton. This role combines administrative support with cost estimating and tender preparation, working closely with the Estimating and Bidding Team.

We welcome graduates with an engineering degree or experienced administrators who want to develop a career in estimating, costing and production in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail demonstrated in cost calculations and documentation.
• Good numerical and analytical skills for costings and preparation of quotations.
• Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and suppliers.
• Competent IT skills, especially Excel, and ability to learn internal systems.
• Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Interest in estimating, costing, tendering and production processes.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative support to the estimating and bidding team.
• Assist with preparation and submission of quotations and tenders.
• Review customer enquiries, drawings, specifications and supporting docs.
• Gather information and pricing from suppliers and internal departments.
• Assist with material, labour and production cost calculations.
• Maintain costing, quotation and tender records.
• Input and update information on internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Liaise with production, purchasing and engineering to obtain data.
• Monitor tender deadlines and ensure timely quotations.
• Prepare reports, schedules and documentation as required.
• Maintain accurate product, material and pricing information.
• Support the team with general production and estimating administration.
