Dacorum Borough Council is seeking an Estates Services Supervisor to oversee day-to-day supervision of frontline cleaning teams across housing estates and supported housing schemes. You will allocate work, coordinate cover, and carry out inspections to ensure high cleaning standards.

The role requires experience in cleaning/estates, driving licence, and a Basic DBS check. The council promotes flexible working and a supportive environment during Local Government Reorganisation.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in cleaning/estates facilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Basic DBS check required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise Communal Area Cleaners and Mobile Cleaners.
• Allocate daily work and manage service delivery across multiple sites.
• Coordinate cover arrangements and respond to operational pressures.
• Carry out inspections and quality checks to ensure cleaning standards.
• Support staff performance through coaching, guidance and day-to-day supervision.
• Respond to and resolve routine operational issues.
• Promote safe working practices and support compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
• Support induction and on-the-job training for new employees.
• Assist with delivery of communal cleaning, mobile cleaning, window cleaning, void clearance and fly-tipping response activities.
• Support positive engagement with residents and respond to routine service enquiries.
