Job summary

The Royal Academy of Arts is seeking a project manager to join its estates team in London. The role entails supporting a varied portfolio including minor capex/opex, exhibition builds, conservation, maintenance and refurbishment projects, working closely with stakeholders, consultants and suppliers to deliver safely, on programme and within budget.

• A relevant technical qualification and/or equivalent experience (engineering, architecture, surveying or project management).
• Proven experience managing building projects, ideally in a listed building or arts institution environment, including planning, budgeting and negotiating with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of a varied portfolio of estates projects (minor capex/opex, exhibitions, maintenance, refurbishment).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and within budget and quality standards.
• Role requires onsite work four days a week.
