Job summary

Insight Executive Group is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join the Estates team at an NHS Trust in Essex on a contract basis. The role focuses on delivering estates capital and minor works across a live hospital site, from brief to handover.

You will manage multidisciplinary works, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure delivery aligns with HTMs/HBNs and CDM requirements in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering background (mechanical, electrical or building services).
• Experience delivering estates or capital projects within healthcare/NHS estates or similar live environment.
• Strong knowledge of HTMs, HBNs, statutory compliance and CDM.

Responsibilities

• Manage estates capital and minor works projects from inception through to completion and handover.
• Provide technical engineering advice across mechanical, electrical and building services elements.
• Prepare and review scopes, specifications, tender documentation and technical drawings.
