Band 8b | Six-month fixed-term contract | Full time
London | Hybrid working
MLC Partners is working with an NHS organisation in London to recruit an experienced Programmes Lead to oversee a varied portfolio of primary care estates and capital schemes.
This is an opportunity to help turn investment plans into improvements to healthcare premises. Working closely with senior estates colleagues and external project managers, you will help schemes progress through planning, funding and approval processes, bringing partners together and resolving issues along the way.
You will provide programme oversight across schemes at different stages of development, ensuring clear priorities, robust governance and effective coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
Direct experience of primary care estates or capital programmes is essential. You will understand the complexity of delivering schemes involving multiple organisations and be able to balance different priorities while maintaining progress.
You will bring strong programme management skills, financial awareness and experience of business cases, governance and senior stakeholder engagement. Relevant programme and project management qualifications will also be important.
You may have gained this experience within the NHS, a healthcare property organisation or an estates consultancy supporting primary care. We are looking for someone who combines sound judgement and flexibility with the confidence to challenge, influence and build effective working relationships.
The preferred appointment is a six-month Band 8b fixed-term contract, with an early start welcomed. A day-rate arrangement may be considered for candidates with particularly relevant experience.
The role offers home working, with one day per week in a London office and site visits as required.
If you are available at short notice and have the suitable experience, we would welcome your application
