Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking an Facilities & Estates Operative to maintain and improve outdoor environments across our Lancashire estates. You will perform cleaning, waste removal and graffiti tasks, ensuring spaces are clean, safe and well presented for residents.

The role involves multi-site work using tools and equipment to maintain outdoor spaces and address day-to-day environmental issues, with a focus on safety and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence is essential.
• Practical experience in Cleaning & Caretaking services is required.
• Knowledge of Cleaning and Waste equipment operation is preferred.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and site safety is important.
• Excellent customer service skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Work in different teams on cleaning and waste management.
• Carry out routine cleaning of external communal areas to keep spaces clean, safe and attractive.
• Assist in graffiti removal and waste removal on estates.
• Undertake minor repairs to communal properties and gardens; assist with deep cleaning.
• Follow health and safety policies and use PPE correctly; keep work areas clean and safe.
