Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking a Facilities & Estates Operative to help maintain and improve the outdoor environments across our estates in Lancashire. This role focuses on ensuring communal outdoor spaces are clean, safe and well presented for residents.

You will carry out a variety of estate-based duties including environmental cleaning, waste removal and graffiti removal. We work across multiple sites using tools and equipment to maintain outdoor spaces and respond to day-to-day

Qualifications

• Experience in Cleaning & Caretaking services.
• Ability to operate cleaning and waste equipment.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and site safety.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work within different teams on cleaning and waste management.
• Carry out routine cleaning of external communal areas to keep them safe and attractive.
• Assist in removal of graffiti or fly tipped waste.
• Carry out minor repairs to communal areas and ensure paths are hazard free.
• Follow health and safety policies and use PPE.
