Job summary

Together Housing is seeking a Facilities & Estates Operative to maintain outdoor environments across our Lancashire estates. You will clean, remove waste, combat graffiti, and carry out minor repairs to keep communal areas safe and welcoming for residents.

The role covers multiple sites, using tools and equipment to maintain outdoor spaces and respond to daily environmental issues. The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving license, proven Cleaning & Caretaking experience, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving license.
• Practical experience of working in a Cleaning & Caretaking service.
• Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and site safety.

Responsibilities

• Work within different teams on all aspects of cleaning and waste management.
• Carry out routine cleaning of external communal areas, ensuring they are clean, safe and presentable using tools and materials as required.
• Assist in removal of graffiti or waste on the site when needed.
• Perform minor repairs to common areas, gardens and estate while keeping paths hazard-free.
• Follow health and safety policies and use PPE correctly and tidy work areas after tasks.
