Job summary

Wimbledon High School, part of the GDST, is seeking a hands-on Estates Operative to join a busy, supportive team. You will carry out minor repairs, help set up spaces for events and conduct site checks to ensure a safe, secure school environment.

Candidates should have practical DIY or handyperson skills, with experience in painting, carpentry or basic plumbing, and a strong health and safety awareness. You will work with contractors and take initiative to keep the site running smoothly,

Working as part of our friendly and supportive Estates team, you will help care for our buildings and grounds, respond to maintenance needs and ensure that students, colleagues and visitors enjoy a safe, secure and well-run environment.No two days will be the same. You might be completing a minor repair, preparing spaces for a school event, carrying out site checks, supporting a delivery or helping to resolve an issue before it disrupts the school day.
