Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an Estates Officer to cover NHSH in Lochaber, primarily based at Belford Hospital, Fort William. The post requires managing breakdowns, coordinating contractors and in-house trades teams, and travelling to sites across NHSH.

At NHS Highland we have a full-time vacancy within our Estates Department for an Estates Officer to coverNHSH in Lochaber.

The successful candidateshould be enthusiastic and motivatedandbe able to react and think quickly on how to deal with breakdowns within the NHSH estate, manage small scale projects and efficiently arrange for contractors or in house trades teams to carry out maintenance work safely.

The post is primarily based at Belford Hospital, Fort William at the moment, there will be a requirement to travel to sites all over NHSH.

Theposition will requireeffective management and prioritisation tocontribute to the provision of excellent patient care.
