Job summary

National Oceanography Centre, Liverpool, is seeking an Estates Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) to join the Estates Department at our Liverpool site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across facilities including electrical systems, BMS, fire alarms, security, HVAC and pumps, contributing to reliable operations of our marine science hub.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical and proven building services

Qualifications

• Experience in building services environments.
• Experience with electrical or mechanical building services systems is essential.
• Flexible approach to work and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across Liverpool site.
• Work on low voltage electrical systems, BMS, fire alarms, security systems, HVAC, AHUs and pumps.
• Participate in an on-call rota (1 week in 4) to ensure site operations and safety.
