Estates Maintenance Operative

Worcester

Salary: up to £28,000pa

An educational setting client in Worcester is seeking an Estates Maintenance Operative to undertake the duties in relation to general repairs and maintenance works across the site. You will be joining a wider estates team.

Estates Maintenance Operative Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general repairs as required
• Operating all plant (i.e. boilers), safety systems (i.e. fire & smoke detection systems) and security systems (i.e. alarms, cameras)
• Supervising contractors where specialist support is required
• Undertake the periodic testing
• Working to Health and safety requirements at all times

Estates Maintenance Operative Requirements:

• A demonstrable maintenance skill such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical or painting
• Ability to communicate at all levels, with varied ranges of people
• Hold appropriate qualifications to your trade
• Flexible working attitude, self-managing
