Job summary

Armthorpe Parish Council is seeking an Estates Maintenance Officer to look after its green spaces, burial ground, allotments, and play area. The role requires pride in maintaining outdoor spaces that are safe, welcoming and well cared for within the Armthorpe community.

You will work in a small team, maintain council grounds, support facilities upkeep, and ensure health and safety standards are met at all times. LGPS pension contribution applies and flexible hours for part-time work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full driving licence.
• Experience in horticultural or grounds maintenance is essential.
• Experience in a council or public sector setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain council-owned green spaces and facilities to a high standard.
• Assist with safety compliance and risk assessments across sites.
• Contribute to project work and develop efficient service delivery.
