Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is recruiting an Estates Gardener (Band 2) to join the Estates Team at Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) on a permanent basis, with annual salary around £25,272 plus an 8% R&R premium.

You will perform grounds and gardening maintenance and contribute to winter grit duties as part of an on-call rota. The post requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to drive.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grounds and gardening maintenance tasks.

The University of North Midlands is looking to recruit an Estates Gardener to work within the Estates Team at Royal Stoke University Hospital.

You will be keen and enthusiastic working within a large team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to the hospital. Your duties will include carrying out Grounds & Gardening maintenance and to be part of the winter Gritting On Call Rota for the hospital.

Main duties of the job

The candidate will ideally have experience of Grounds & Gardening Maintenance and be able to drive. It's essential that you are an effective team worker, with the ability to provide support to other colleagues within the Estates Department.
